In order to celebrate his 50Th birthday, Felipe has come out with the 1957 Series, this is his first box pressed cigar line. Special attention has been placed on the wrapper which is a variety of a Pinar del Rio Cuban seed grown in the highlands of Costa Rica. This wrapper natural dark chocolate in color is loaded with flavor that coats the palate. The binder is a 7 year old aged Piloto Cubano, filler is a 7 year old aged Piloto and Vuelta Bajo Habano varieties, grown respectively in the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica. The 1957 series is presented in a unique box.

The variety is Pelo de oro (Golden Hair), and tobacco from these seeds has not been available anywherenot even Cubasince before Castro seized power. Extraordinary tobacco has been selected for the filler as well. Both Nicaraguan and Piloto Cubano tobaccos are triple-fermented and aged a full 12 years. Add a Nicaraguan Habana 92 binder and you have a full bodied cigar with a velvet-smooth finish. Felipe Power is handmade in the Dominican Republic and aged in cedar for three months. The opulent taste and aroma, combined with this new an exciting strain of Havana tobacco, is sure to raise the bar in taste and manufacture alike.
