How does it work?

You can activate Cigar Mechanic at any time simply by charging or adding distilled water. Then drain off any excess water and you are ready to use.

Cigar Mechanic is a bi-directional product, meaning it will actually regulate your humidity. It will absorb moisture when it is too humid and when it gets too dry in your humidor it will release humidity.

This question, like all questions cigars is subjective. We will list what works.

How long will it last?

Like anything this depends on many factors, including, but not limited to;

It also depends on the initial condition of your cigars and the condition of your humidor and how well it works.
Ideally though, under perfect conditions Cigar Mechanic will last months, keeping your cigars in perfect condition.

What we say here is “longer than your cigars!”

• NO SWELL – NO GEL
  You may think that you have seen this product before, heard of it, used it, something familiar. We can assure you that you have not.
  
  This is not the gel that swells up and is useless after a short period of time.
  Cigar Mechanic is made to last. There is no swell and no gel. We said it before and it won’t be the last time, “It’ll last longer than your cigars.”

• Cigar Mechanic is non-toxic.  (Please note: We still don’t, nor have we ever, recommend eating it for dinner.)

We always recommend using Cigar Mechanic as a re-fill in your personal humidors.

However, if you chose to use Cigar Mechanic in its glorious, extra thick, perforated, clear, easy to use, ready-to-go bag, by all means please do.

We recommend using:

1. The all time great
   Needed: 1 simple plastic zip bag.
   Simply throw in an activated Cigar Mechanic bag into a plastic bag filled with cigars.  Seal it and off you go with your own travel humidor.
2. Throwing the Activated Cigar Mechanic Bag into any:

Cigar Mechanic is re-useable. Use again and again, just add distilled water.
